Overhead squat -
1x8 - bar only - started with bar overhead.
3x8 - bar only - pull & tuck then overhead squat.
Pull & Tuck - bar only - 5x1
C&J tech - 1x1 - bar, 40k, 40k, 40k, 40k
Clean grip pull -
1x1 - 40k
5x1 - 50k
Snatch grip pull -
1x1 - 40k
5x1 - 50k
Hyperextension - 1x10 - blw+5k, blw+ 10k, b/w+15k
*tried the clean grip and snatch grip pull today to see what my form was like so kept the weights light. These should help cleaning the weight off the floor with explosion.
I cant really start to add weight to C&J as my flexibility needs more work. So better stick to getting the technique down and when my flexibility comes then go for the full blast on the heavy iron.
My overhead squatting is getting better and so the pull & tuck will improve. I have noticed a difference already but what I have been doing is rolling the bar onto my fingers when I have finished the pull & tuck sequence....must stop that right away so I don't pick up bad habits early.
Tired to do leg raises but my lower back started to complain after 2 reps so stopped that immediately. Going to do some rehab in the next few days and start, once its better focus on getting it strong!
enjoyed today as I trained in the garden out in the sun, give the neighbours a show....lol
